WEDDING DRESS ORDERING – THE DETAILS
Ordering a wedding dress
A 50% deposit is required before any orders can be placed. The client has a seven day breathing space. However, once an order is placed with the chosen designer, cancellation is no longer possible, for ourselves, nor the client.
Delivery time
This can be up to 6 /7 months, unless ordering from stock, an approximate delivery time will be given on those occasions.
Customers must bare in mind that this time is necessary, due to the construction of their chosen wedding dress and the required embellishment etc.
Customers must also take into consideration, that each company, will be making many orders, for clients around the world, for hundreds of Bridal boutiques.
SHIPPING
An approximate time of delivery can be given but not guaranteed, due to Customs and delays out of our control.
It is advisable, when ordering, to allow time for fittings, construction, shipping and possible delays. I would suggest placing an order at least 8months before the Big Day. However as mentioned, stock dresses are sometimes available or an ex sample dress would take the pressure away.
Alterations
This will be discussed on the day of purchase. Customers will need to book their appointment for this service, as soon as the dress has been ordered.
The appointment should be booked for a suitable time, near the Wedding date. 6 – 4 weeks before, is advisable and final fitting – 2 weeks or even the week before.This time scale is dependant on various situations, such as – diets, pregnancy, alterations required and stress (effecting weight, which often occurs before the big day). Each of these situations have a huge effect on the fitting of your dress. Fitting earlier could be costly, due to changes in body shape.
