DEBORAH MOORE – APPOINTMENT GUIDELINES

APPOINTMENT DETAILS

Most brides arrive feeling nervous and totally outside their comfort zone, this is completely normal for at least 90% of brides to be.

You’ll be able to try on a number of different wedding dresses. You may fall in love with the first dress or perhaps the 10th, or perhaps not find one at all. Whatever happens when you visit please be reassured that there is absolutely no pressure. This should be an enjoyable part of your wedding planning journey, it’s an exciting time.

APPOINTMENT LENGTH

90 minutes is allowed for each appointment. This gives you plenty of time to try on a good selection of styles without pressure. Please be prompt to ensure you make the most of your scheduled appointment time.

UNDERWARE

Nude and seamless pants work best, particularly if you favour slimmer fitting gowns. Don’t be lured into small fitting Spanx to suck you in, they obstruct measuring for proper sizing. Bras aren’t always necessary as dresses are often constructed with inbuilt  underware. Strapless and nude are best if you’d prefer to wear one.

MAKEUP & FAKE TAN

Make up is absolutely fine, in fact it helps you imagine how you’ll look on the big day, we’ll simply make sure that care is taken to protect the dresses from makeup transfer whilst changing.

If you arrive in any instant fake tan or shimmer, you won’t be permitted to try on any gowns as it ruins the dresses, it’s strictly prohibited. I completely understand that brides want a glow when trying on ivory dresses and fake tan that has been washed off is perfectly acceptable.

GUESTS

My recommendation, based on decades of experience is that you don’t bring too many people (3 or 4 guests max). I find that brides can be overwhelmed with all the different unsolicited opinions, even when they’ve found the dream dress. People have their own ideas of what a wedding dress should be but what matters most is how you feel and what you want. It’s only you who should make the decision.

PARKING

2 Cars can be accommodated in the studio parking area.
